Michigan High School Basketball - Western International can't hold off Detroit Country Day

February 28, 2013: Beverly Hills, MI 48025

The Detroit Country Day Yellowjackets basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Western International Cowboys to 71 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Thursday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a non-league contest on Monday, March 4.

The Cowboys (9-6) will now prepare for their bout against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI). The Norsemen go into the non-league bout with a 8-8 record. In their last bout, Grosse Pointe North was edged by Dakota (Macomb, MI), 77-55, in a non-league bout.
