Florida High School Volleyball - Harmony edged by Melbourne Central Catholic
September 17, 2009: Melbourne, FL 32901 The Melbourne Central Catholic Hustlers held off the visiting Harmony Longhorns volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hustlers now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity Episcopal for a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, September 22. Melbourne Central Catholic will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
With the loss, Harmony moves to 6-2 on the year. The Longhorns travel to St. Cloud (St. Cloud, FL) to battle the Bulldogs in a 4A District 6 contest on Wednesday, September 23. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 0-1.
