In Thursday's non-league match, the host Windber Ramblers basketball team scored a good 53-37 triumph over the North Star Cougars.

In their next game, the Ramblers confront the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 1. Windber will attempt to move on its 19-5 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 18-4 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).

With the defeat, North Star moves to 10-13 on the year.
