The Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) softball routed the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 14-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Broncos (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes enter the non-league match with a 9-17 record. In their last match, Combs was routed by Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ), 11-2, in a league match.

With the loss, Higley falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to face the Bulldogs in a II Section I match on Thursday, April 18.
