April 3, 2009: Aurora, IL 60506 Aurora Christian Eagles (Aurora, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Newark Norsemen (Newark, IL), 15-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Aurora Christian upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst, IL) to battle the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, April 4. Game Summary
Newark jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but the Eagles answered in the bottom of the 3rd with 7 runs, with a little help from the Norsemen defense. Aurora Christian went on to score 15 unanswered runs for the victory.
