Virginia High School Basketball - Virginia Episcopal prevails Lancaster
December 11, 2010: Lancaster, VA 22503 Virginia Episcopal Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA), 64-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Virginia Episcopal upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Bishops travel to Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Hargrave Military Academy won 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Cross Regional (Lynchburg, VA)
Next up, the Red Devils encounter the West Point Pointers (West Point, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 13. Lancaster will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Pointers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 40-28 non-league loss to Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA).
