Louisiana High School Basketball - Airline holds off Arcadia
December 28, 2010: Bossier City, LA 71111 Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Arcadia Hornets (Arcadia, LA), 47-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Airline upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Haughton (Haughton, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Haughton won 66-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Oaks (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Hornets battle the Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 29. Arcadia will attempt to improve on its 13-3 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 40-39 non-league loss to Byrd (Shreveport, LA).
