The West Oso Bears basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Wharton Tigers to 51 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Houston for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 1. West Oso will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 63-42 non-league win over Hidalgo (Hidalgo, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 25-9.
