Missouri High School Basketball - Tina-Avalon nips Linn County
February 17, 2011: Tina, MO 64682 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Tina-Avalon Dragons (Tina, MO) and the visiting Linn County Mustangs (Purdin, MO), saw Tina-Avalon's basketball squad hold off Linn County by a score of 47-41.
With the victory, Tina-Avalon improves its record to 22-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Braymer (Braymer, MO) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 24. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 10-9.
Next up, the Mustangs battle the Hale Cardinals (Hale, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 25. Linn County will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 48-42 non-league win over Braymer (Braymer, MO).
