North Carolina High School Football - Ashley drops to Rose
October 3, 2011: Greenville, NC 27834 In Monday's league game, the Rose Rampants (Greenville, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Ashley (Wilmington, NC), by a final score of 36-6.
The Rampants (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers come into the 4A Mideastern game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Laney was dropped by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 14-7, in a league game.
The now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Hanover for a 4A Mideastern game on Friday, October 7. Ashley will battle a team coming off a 28-21 league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC). The record now stands at 3-2.
