In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting West Tallahatchie Choctaws basketball team scored a tight 38-37 triumph over the Clarksdale Wildcats.

In their next game, the Choctaws confront the Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 17. West Tallahatchie will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 64-5 non-league loss to Coahoma County (Clarksdale, MS).
