September 26, 2014: Mineola, TX 75773 The Mineola Yellowjackets (Mineola, TX) football routed the visiting Pewitt Brahmas (Omaha, TX), 61-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the White Oak Roughnecks (White Oak, TX) in a 3A-1 Region II District 8 bout, on Friday, October 10. Mineola will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Roughnecks enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 42-9 non-league loss to Bullard (Bullard, TX).
The Brahmas (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Bears enter the 3A-2 Region II District 7 bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, De Kalb was crushed by New Boston (New Boston, TX), 38-6, in a non-league bout.
