Florida High School Basketball - Cypress Creek prevails Freedom

Cypress Creek Bears (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL), 41-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cypress Creek upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Bears host Wekiva (Apopka, FL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, January 26. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Patriots play the Mainland Buccaneers (Daytona Beach, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 24. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record.

Defense has been the focus over the past couple weeks and it continued tonight only giving up 2 points in the first quarter!

Defense continued to rotate and cover up shooters and rebound 5 points given up this quarter.
