New York High School Basketball - Iroquois nips West Seneca East
December 10, 2010: Elma, NY 14059 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Iroquois Chiefs (Elma, NY) and the visiting West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY), saw Iroquois's basketball squad hold off West Seneca East by a score of 54-50.
With the victory, Iroquois improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Grover Cleveland (Buffalo, NY) to battle the Presidents in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 14. The Presidents come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Grover Cleveland won 68-60 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY)
Next up, the Trojans battle the Cardinal O'Hara Hawks (Tonawanda, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 13. West Seneca East will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 67-31 non-league loss to Frontier (Hamburg, NY).
