Alabama High School Basketball - Hoover can't hold off Norcross
January 22, 2011: Hoover, AL 35244 The Norcross Blue Devils basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Hoover Buccaneers to 44 in the Blue Devils non-league victory on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Meadowcreek for a 7-AAAAA contest on Saturday, January 29.
The Buccaneers (22-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pelham (Pelham, AL). The Panthers come into the 6A Area 10 contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Pelham was nudged by Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL), 37-30, in a league contest.
