The Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Akron-Fairgrove Vikings to 34 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kingston for a North Central Thumb contest on Friday, January 22. Owendale-Gagetown will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 53-48 league loss to Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Peck (Peck, MI). The Pirates enter the North Central Thumb contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Peck ran past Dryden (Dryden, MI), 57-32, in a league contest.
