Skyline Eagles (Ann Arbor, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), 53-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Skyline upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Belleville (Belleville, MI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Belleville won 70-64 in their recent league bout against Dearborn (Dearborn, MI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Novi Wildcats (Novi, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 22. Saline will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 52-50 league loss to Stevenson (Livonia, MI).
