Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) and the host Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA), saw Woodcreek's basketball squad hold off Oakmont by a score of 53-47.

With the victory, Woodcreek improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Natomas (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Nighthawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 17. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Natomas lost 98-69 in their recent league challenge against Yuba City (Yuba City, CA)
