Florida High School Basketball - Freedom topped by Boone
January 11, 2011: Orlando, FL 32806 The Boone Braves basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Freedom Patriots to 48 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Braves now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Winter Park for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 25. Boone will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 62-40 non-league win over Timber Creek (Orlando, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colonial (Orlando, FL). The Grenadiers come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Colonial was defeated by Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL), 41-38, in a non-league contest.
