Georgia High School Basketball - DeMatha nipped by Norcross
January 26, 2013: Norcross, GA 30092 The Norcross Blue Devils tipped the visiting DeMatha Stags basketball squad by a margin of 68-67 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Blue Devils (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA). The Raiders go into the 7-AAAAAA outing with a 5-16 record. In their last outing, Habersham Central was tipped by Chestatee (Gainesville, GA), 80-69, in a non-league outing.
The Stags now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they host St. Mary's Ryken for a Washington Catholic outing on Tuesday, January 29. DeMatha will encounter a squad coming off a 75-49 league loss to Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA). The record now stands at 9-11.
