The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Cathedral Prep Ramblers (Erie, PA) and the host McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA), observed Cathedral Prep's football squad thwart McDowell by a tally of 45-17.

The Ramblers now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute for a non-league outing on Friday, October 11. Cathedral Prep will encounter a Marauders team coming off a 27-20 league win over St. Francis (Athol Springs, NY). The Marauders record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, McDowell moves to 2-4 on the season. The Trojans host Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, October 11.
