October 24, 2014: Newtown, CT 06482 Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT), 21-14 in a league test.
With the triumph, Newtown improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Nighthawks travel to Weston (Weston, CT) to battle the Trojans in a Southwest test on Friday, October 31. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 3-4. Weston lost 40-9 in their recent league test against New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT)
With the loss, Brookfield drops to 6-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to battle the Panthers in a Southwest test on Friday, October 31. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 3-4. Pomperaug lost 48-6 in their recent league test against Bethel (Bethel, CT)
