January 18, 2011: Waterfall, PA 16689 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chestnut Ridge Lions (New Paris, PA) and the host Forbes Road (Waterfall, PA), saw Chestnut Ridge's basketball squad knock off Forbes Road by a score of 53-42.
With the victory, Chestnut Ridge improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to McConnellsburg (McConnellsburg, PA) to battle the Spartans in a Sideling Hill challenge on Monday, January 24. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-11.
Next up, the battle the Fannett Metal (Willow Hill, PA) in a Sideling Hill challenge, on Friday, January 21. Forbes Road will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 69-40 league loss to Tussey Mountain (Saxton, PA).
