Hawaii High School Football - Honoka'a drops to Kea'au
October 18, 2008: Kea'au, HI 96749 In Saturday's league game, the Kea'au Cougars (Kea'au, HI) football team knocked off the visiting Honoka'a Dragons (Honoka'a, HI), by a final score of 20-0.
The Cougars (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Hilo (Hilo, HI). The Vikings come into the Big Island I game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Hilo was dropped by Kealakehe (Kailua-Kona, HI), 51-0, in a non-league game.
The Dragons now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Konawaena for a non-league game on Saturday, October 25. Honoka'a will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 28-0 league win over Kohala (Kapaau, HI). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.
