Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mentor Cardinals (Mentor, OH) and the host St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH), saw Mentor's basketball squad hold off St. Edward by a score of 61-57.

With the victory, Mentor improves its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) to battle the Fighting Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 26.
