California High School Football - Desert Christian nipped by Mojave

October 28, 2011: Mojave, CA 93501

The Mojave Mustangs held off the visiting Desert Christian Knights football team by a count of 20-15 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Mojave upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Tranquillity (Tranquillity, CA) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, November 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 5-3. Tranquillity lost 47-0 in their recent league test against Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA)

With the loss, Desert Christian drops to 6-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA) to battle the Huskies in a Desert Mountain test on Saturday, November 5. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 4-4. Mammoth won 27-0 in their recent league test against Vasquez (Acton, CA)
