The Redwood Giants basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Pinole Valley Spartans to 46 in the Giants non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Giants now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3. Redwood will confront a Loggers team coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Loggers record now stands at 0-1.
