In Friday's league match, the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars football squad scored a big 47-7 victory over the Gilbert Tigers.

In their next game, the Jaguars clash with the Mountain View Toros (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 2. Desert Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Toros enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 43-7 league loss to Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ).
