Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their softball team defeat the host Rio Linda Knights (Rio Linda, CA), 14-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Placer improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Hillmen travel to Roseville (Roseville, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, March 12. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 1-1.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the St. Francis Troubadours (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 10. Rio Linda will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Troubadours come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 14-7 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA).
