The Corsica Comets basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Wagner Red Raiders to 44 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Platte/Geddes for a non-league contest on Monday, January 12. Corsica will confront a Black Panthers team coming off a 56-53 non-league win over Colome (Colome, SD). The Black Panthers record now stands at 4-2.

The Red Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Gregory was nudged by Winner (Winner, SD), 53-38, in a league contest.
