Texas High School Basketball - Fort Worth Country Day crushes Weatherford Express HomeSchool
January 29, 2009: Fort Worth, TX 76109 Fort Worth Country Day Falcons (Fort Worth, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Weatherford Express HomeSchool (Weatherford, TX), 82-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fort Worth Country Day upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Falcons travel to Oakridge (Arlington, TX) to play the Owls in a Southwest Prep - North bout on Tuesday, February 3. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Oakridge lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK)
Next up, the play the Zion HomeSchool Saints (Fort Worth, TX) in a Freelance bout, on Friday, January 30. Weatherford Express HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 73-69 non-league win over Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK).
