Florida High School Basketball - Nature Coast Tech can't hold off Mitchell

The Mitchell Mustangs basketball team scored 32 points and held the host Nature Coast Tech Sharks to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anclote for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Mitchell will meet a Sharks team coming off a 42-32 non-league loss to Ridgewood (New Port Richey, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 3-10.

The Sharks (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hernando (Brooksville, FL). The Leopards enter the 5A District 7 contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Hernando was nudged by Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 55-11, in a non-league contest.
