Tennessee High School Basketball - Battle Ground Academy prevails Columbia Central
November 27, 2010: Franklin, TN 37069 Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Columbia Central Lions (Columbia, TN), 65-51 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Battle Ground Academy improves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Franklin (Franklin, TN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 29. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Franklin lost 64-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Northeast (Clarksville, TN)
Next up, the Lions battle the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles (Shelbyville, TN) in a AAA District 7 challenge, on Friday, December 3. Columbia Central will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 50-33 non-league win over Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN).
