Illinois High School Basketball - Pana crushes Carlinville
December 10, 2011: Carlinville, IL 62626 Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Carlinville Cavaliers (Carlinville, IL), 63-23 in a league bout.
With the win, Pana upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Southwestern (Piasa, IL) to encounter the Piasa Birds in a South Central - West bout on Monday, December 12. The Piasa Birds go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Southwestern lost 51-27 in their recent league bout against Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL)
Next up, the Cavaliers encounter the Roxana Shells (Roxana, IL) in a South Central - West bout, on Monday, December 12. Carlinville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Shells go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 62-47 league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
