Bellefonte Raiders (Bellefonte, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 51-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bellefonte upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 29. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Philipsburg-Osceola lost 58-38 in their recent non-league bout against Indian Valley (Lewistown, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 29. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 56-50 league loss to Lewistown (Lewistown, PA).
