The Episcopal Maroon basketball team (Alexandria, VA), was nudged 83-80 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD)

The Bears now sport a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Georgetown Prep for a Interstate Athletic battle on Tuesday, January 31. Landon will meet a Little Hoyas team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Little Hoyas record now stands at 11-10.

The Maroon (13-2) will now prepare for their battle against Bullis (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 20-2 record. In their last battle, Bullis edged St. Albans (Washington, DC), 85-74, in a league battle.
