Oak Grove Eagles (San Jose, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cupertino Pioneers (Cupertino, CA), 39-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oak Grove upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Gilroy (Gilroy, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Gilroy won 78-19 in their recent non-league bout against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the Willow Glen Rams (San Jose, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Cupertino will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 63-52 non-league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
