September 11, 2010: North Las Vegas, NV 89032 The Cheyenne Desert Shields football team (North Las Vegas, NV), was beaten 37-8 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV)
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV). The Crusaders come into the Sunset - Northwest challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Faith Lutheran knocked off Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV), 37-23, in a league challenge.
The Desert Shields now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Del Sol for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 16. Cheyenne will meet a Dragons team coming off a 49-19 non-league win over Valley (Las Vegas, NV). The Dragons record now stands at 2-1.
