California High School Basketball - Rosamond over Frazier Mountain
January 16, 2009: Rosamond, CA 93560 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Rosamond Roadrunners (Rosamond, CA) and the visiting Frazier Mountain Falcons (Lebec, CA), saw Rosamond's basketball squad knock off Frazier Mountain by a score of 53-41.
With the victory, Rosamond improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to Desert (Edwards AFB, CA) to battle the Scorpions in a High Desert challenge on Tuesday, January 20. The Scorpions come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Desert won 38-33 in their recent league challenge against Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA)
Next up, the Falcons battle the Mojave Mustangs (Mojave, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 20. Frazier Mountain will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 49-7 non-league win over Bishop (Bishop, CA).
