The Saginaw Trojans basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Mt. Pleasant Oilers to 38 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carman-Ainsworth for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6.

With the defeat, Mt. Pleasant moves to 5-8 on the year. The Oilers host Midland (Midland, MI) to confront the Chemics in a Saginaw Valley match on Friday, February 3. The Chemics enter the match with a record of 11-1. Midland won 74-65 in their recent league match against Arthur Hill (Saginaw, MI)
