Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA), 56-29 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cascade upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Panthers play the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 19-1 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 15-6 record after their 51-48 league loss to Marquette (Bellevue, IA).
