In Friday's league match, the visiting Douglas Tigers basketball team scored a tight 51-46 triumph over the Hug Hawks.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a I Northern - Sierra match, on Tuesday, January 21. Douglas will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record.

With the defeat, Hug moves to 4-12 on the year. The Hawks host North Valleys (Reno, NV) to face the Panthers in a I Northern - High Desert match on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-7.
