May 4, 2012: Perris, CA 92571 The Perris Panthers baseball team (Perris, CA), was overwhelmed 9-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Temescal Canyon Titans (Lake Elsinore, CA)
The Titans now hold a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a Sunbelt outing on Tuesday, May 8. Temescal Canyon will confront a Patriots team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Elsinore (Wildomar, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-12.
Next, the Panthers confront the Heritage Patriots (Romoland, CA) in a Sunbelt outing, on Wednesday, May 9. Perris will attempt to advance on its 6-18 season record.

Clements and The Titans cruise past Perris, 9-2
Perris didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the Titans cruised to a blowout 9-2 win in seven innings at Perris. A first inning rally saw 3 runs cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Trimble, an RBI single by Josh Cohen, and a steal of home by Smith. The Titans scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Dillan Smith, a steal of home by Smith, and an RBI double by Sean Trimble. Smith did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Titans, reaching base four times. He scored two runs and had one RBI.
Dawson Lindeman and Alec Gardea also had multihit games.
Kurt Clements struck out nine, paving the way for a the Titans win. Clements allowed no earned runs, four hits and no walks over seven innings. He saw his team leading e.r.a. drop to 1.49
