The DeSoto Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Taft Raiders to 64 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Crowley for a non-league contest on Friday, November 19. DeSoto will meet a Panthers team coming off a 69-63 non-league win over College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.

The Raiders (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dekaney (Houston, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Dekaney nudged Duncanville (Duncanville, TX), 67-60, in a non-league contest.
