The Shannon Red Raiders basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Corinth Warriors to 66 in the Red Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Raiders now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mooreville for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Shannon will meet a Troopers team coming off a 80-65 non-league loss to Booneville (Booneville, MS). The Troopers record now stands at 12-3.

The Warriors (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS). The Aggies enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Kossuth was defeated by Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS), 75-56, in a non-league contest.
