Georgia High School Basketball - Norcross nips Peachtree Ridge

January 31, 2014: Suwanee, GA 30024

Norcross Blue Devils (Norcross, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA), 59-58 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Norcross improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Duluth (Duluth, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a 7-AAAAAA challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-9.

Next up, the Lions confront the North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) in a 7-AAAAAA challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Peachtree Ridge will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 81-49 league win over Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA).
