October 12, 2012: Manning, SC 29102 The Manning Monarchs football team (Manning, SC), was tipped 27-24 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hartsville Red Foxes (Hartsville, SC)
The Red Foxes (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood nipped Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC), 34-6, in a league challenge.
The Monarchs now sport a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestwood for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 19. Manning will meet a Knights team coming off a 49-20 league loss to Marlboro County (Bennettsville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.
