In Friday's league outing, the O'Connor Panthers (Helotes, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), by a margin of 54-44.

The Panthers (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Warren (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors go into the 5A Region IV District 27 outing with a 26-4 record. In their last outing, Warren gained a win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX), 64-51, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 9-17 record. They take the field next when they host Taft for a 5A Region IV District 27 outing on Tuesday, January 31. Jay will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 64-58 league loss to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 14-15.
