Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Era Hornets (Era, TX) and the visiting Throckmorton Greyhounds (Throckmorton, TX), saw Era's basketball squad knock off Throckmorton by a score of 55-40.

With the victory, Era betters its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Hornets host Muenster (Muenster, TX) to meet the Hornets in a 1A-1 Region II District 10 contest on Tuesday, January 12. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 11-6.
