Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA), 40-7 in a league test.

With the triumph, Palmerton improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Blue Bombers host Palisades (Kintnersville, PA) to confront the Pirates in a Colonial test on Friday, September 25. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 1-2. Palisades won 48-21 in their recent league battle against Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA)
